Disreputable History of Frankie Landau Banks by e. Lockhart
This is one of those boarding school books I loved as a teen,
with a new twist. Frankie gets the hot guy as her boyfriend,
but instead of losing herself, she actually finds herself. There's a
lot of intrigue, too, because there's a secret society and a mystery to solve.

I liked this one quite a bit, but I'm not sure it's good enough!
I agree. I enjoyed it a lot while I was reading it, but it certainly does not fit anywhere near my top 5.
It's not in my top 5 either.
Again - timeless - I'm not so sure. I found it interesting that you could tell this book was written within the same group as Paper Towns - given the urban exploration. Lots of interesting material - but can it tread the waters long enough?
I just didn't like Frankie's character much at all and my feeling after finishing the book is mostly meh.
