Jack is still after Bod but can only get to Bod if he leaves the graveyard. This book has been my favorite so far. The story is full of quirky characters and is full of snap shots of Bod's life from the night his parents were murdered through to the night when it was safe for him to leave and live his life. I didn't want it to end. I give this a big TU!

I agree whole heartedly with the thumbs up. This book was just great. It is quite hard to explain, beyond what you already wrote, but it was simply a great story that I could not get enough of. The concept of a child growing up in a graveyard, raised by the dead spirits or ghosts who live there is an interesting one to begin with, but when you throw in a murder mystery, and have Neil Gaiman write the story you end up with a great book. I give this book a very enthusiastic Thumbs Up.
I loved this book. It made me laugh, cry, and think bittersweet thoughts. Yay.
I really liked the concept of the book, and I enjoyed the story. Some of the earlier chapters were a little too long and stand alone for me, like the Ghoul story, but over all I'd give it a thumbs up.
I just finished this book and I really enjoyed it. It's funny, I had the book at home, and it captured all 3 of the kids' attention: the 13 year old, the 6 year old, and the 1 year old! What book can you say does all that?
The book is really very simple--like Stephen King lite--but the descriptions of the baby and the different points of view are very vivid. I give it a Thumbs Up!
This just won the Newbery! Wow!
