However, it is simply not complete without the next book, so it wont make the cut this time.Josh B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05853410178998869601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3487141994669523607.post-81077533536512992272009-04-20T06:07:00.000-04:002009-04-20T06:07:00.000-04:00Good story -- but it just stops with them in Jerse...Good story -- but it just stops with them in Jersey. Seems like you would have to read the upcoming Forge to get anywhere with this -- as it isn't one of those books that leaves it up to your imagination as to what happens with the characters. It depends on its sequel -- so it won't be getting my nod.pandamanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04468671052407321270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3487141994669523607.post-42532235489380174512009-03-02T16:50:00.000-05:002009-03-02T16:50:00.000-05:00This one helped me remember that I do really enjoy...This one helped me remember that I do really enjoy Historical Fiction. I think it was a really great story, but it isn't the strongest book of the year.Librarykathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07775219789257597696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3487141994669523607.post-42369981185726104452009-02-26T10:08:00.000-05:002009-02-26T10:08:00.000-05:00When it comes to HF about slaves during the revolu...When it comes to HF about slaves during the revolution, this by far is my favorite. I could really feel for all of the characters. I could love them and love to hate them. That being said it is just outside of my top 5.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06440255486010948997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3487141994669523607.post-60116706260518620942009-02-23T15:25:00.000-05:002009-02-23T15:25:00.000-05:00I listened to this one on audio.I didn't really ca...I listened to this one on audio.
I didn't really care for the narrator--too much nasal noise (I was going to put "nasily" but I don't know how to spell it)
I think it's an important work, but I'm not sure how popular it might be.Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00442781741306334246noreply@blogger.com
